I wish to acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the unceded sovereign land on which I live, learn and work – the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation – and extend my respects to their elders, past, present and emerging. I celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first storytellers and artists on this continent and recognise their continuing cultural and spiritual connection to country – always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
