Mim Kowner (they/them, she/her) is an emerging Swiss Australian artist based on Whadjuk Noongar country in Western Australia, and recent Curtin University graduate.

Their multi-disciplinary practice explores ideas about identity and gender within the cultural, social and personal, as well as the complex entanglements between humans and the non-human world.

Kowner’s current work investigates links between feminism and sports ability to empower female athletes through paintings reflective of changing attitudes around women’s sport.
